Nissan Assistance is in the entire Europe 24 hours a day accessible* technical support free of charge.
From 1st of March 2008 in Latvia all warranty cars has a free of charge technical support provided by Nissan Nordic Europe Oy in the entire Europe called Nissan Assistance. This additional free of charge service in the 3 years warranty period is accessible for all new NISSAN car** owners.
In case of car damage, accident, as well as a problem caused by a driver itself, NISSAN user 24 hours a day can receive technical support for free. If a problem caused to a car is not solvable at one go, the car is delivered to the nearest NISSAN repair shop.
If the car cannot be repaired at the same day, NISSAN by necessity offers:

- Public transport (taxi, bus, train, airplane) for continuation of a trip and later, for picking up for a car, or
- Exchange car (likely equivalent to customer’s car) for continuation of a trip and later, for picking up for a car, or
- Housing in 3-star hotel (Bed and breakfast).
Exchange car and housing in a hotel is offered until repair of a car, but not longer than 3 (three) days. If it is realized that the car cannot be repaired in three days time, NISSAN technical support provides delivery of a customer and the car home free of charge. In order to use NISSAN Assistance, the driver has to call to a phone number of Nissan technical support shown on the sticker on the windscreen of a car. In the borders of Latvia the calls to the technical support number 80006477 are free of charge.
Outside Latvia for receiving of technical support one should call Latvian technical support number +371 67 514347. After own suggestion the expenses caused for solving of a problem, in the frames of technical support, are not compensated. For cars with expired warranty through the same number NISSAN Assistance is offered for a valuable consideration, besides calls in the border of Latvia to the number 80006477 still are free of charge.
